Algernon Doll - Omphalic

Preorders are live for the new Algernon Doll LP Out: 30/05/2014

Algernon Doll is the music of Ewan Grant, who currently lives in Glasgow. He has worked with producer/photographer/director Tom Mitchell to record Omphalic, the amazing follow up to 2013's Citalo Pop. Omphalic sees Algernon Doll take a slightly different direction from his previous, more delicate shoegazey fuzz-pop solo releases, taking cues from grunge influences such as Nirvana. The album has been mastered by Bob Weston of Shellac at his studio in Chicago to really expand it's sound and perfect the recordings for vinyl release. Featuring stand out singles Spilt Milk Perfume & Suicide, which have both had amazing videos directed by the multi-talented Tom Mitchell, Omphalic is gaining attention from the likes of BBC Introducing & Go North Festival organisers. Algernon Doll now plays live as a three piece whose performance perfectly showcases the raw energy and intensity of the songs.

The official release date for the LP is June 30th, but we are running preorders which will guarantee recieving the album on or before the record release show date of June 23rd. If you plan on attending the release show at Broadcast with support from Wolves At Heart & Vasa, you can reserve a copy and get cheaper entry to the show online.
